All Star Night – The 16th Annual Johnny Weaver Cup Begins!
CWF Mid-Atlantic presents “All Star Night” on Saturday, June 15th, at the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium in Gibsonville, NC! Tickets are already on sale!
THE 15th ANNUAL JOHNNY WEAVER CUP TOURNAMENT BEGINS!!!
The 16th Annual Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament begins on June 15th!!! This year is the biggest tournament ever as not only will the winner gain the glory of capturing the prestigious Johnny Weaver Cup and getting their name etched on the trophy, but they will also win the vacant Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship!!!
Last year’s winner, John Skyler, will be in tournament action hoping to repeat his success from the 2018 action. Skyler won’t be the only former winner in action as the only 2-Time winner, Arik Royal, will also be in 1st round action!!! Last year’s runner-up, Cam Carter, is also slated for tournament action!!! This will definitely be an “All Star Night” with the top grapplers in the Mid-Atlantic to kick off the summer long tournament!!!
1st ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCHES FOR JUNE 15TH ANNOUNCED
There are four 1st Round Weaver Cup Tournament Matches set for this Saturday Night! The 2018 Winner, John Skyler, will face Cain Justice, who made it to the Final Four in 2018, losing to Cam Carter. This year Justice is looking to reach the finals and a win over John Skyler would surely propel him in the right direction. Skyler, who is also the PWI Ultra J Title holder, feels like he should get a bye into the finals as the defending champion. Will Skyler continue his pa

Last year’s runner-up, Cam Carter, is hoping 2019 is his year. He has built on a lot of success from 2018 and came just a hair from winning last year’s tournament, losing to John Skyler. This year the stakes are even higher, as the winner also is crowned the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion. To reach that goal, Carter is going to have to turn back Aric Andrews. Andrews has yet to defeat Carter, and he’s coming off a brutal match just two weeks ago that landed him in the hospital as he lost to the Kamakazi Kid in an insane “Kazi Rules” match.
Another 1st Round bout will feature the only 2-Time winner of the Weaver Cup, Arik Royal. He will face the reigning Rising Generation League Champion, “Cowboy” Kool Jay. Kool Jay made it to the Final Four last year, losing to John Skyler. He also dropped Arik Royal in route to the Final Four. Can the Cowboy russle up another victory over the All Star Gang and achieve the impossible… capturing the Mid-Atlantic Hwt. Title???
The fourth big tournament match will see the 2014 Weaver Cup Winner, Brad Attitude, take on the big man, Mike Mars! A first-time ever match up, this could be the most anticipated first round match this year! Mars is looking to start his own path to championship status and if he is able to defeat Brad Attitude, he will certainly be considered a favorite to reach the Final Four. Meanwhile Attitude returns to claim the Weaver Cup and the Mid-Atlantic Hwt. Championship one more time!

THE COACH TO SIGN NEWEST MEMBER OF HIS ALL-STARS!!
“The World’s Greatest Coach in the Whole World” announced on the first-ever “The Voice Report: Halftime Show with Jarry Caray”, that The All-Stars will be selecting their first-round draft pick on “MLB Draft Day”, June 3rd. The Coach stated he will be signing that 1st Round Draft Pick in person at “All Star Night.” Who will be the next person to join The All-Stars???
