End of an Era – Main Event Details Confirmed

On Saturday, February 24th, another historic battle will take place at the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium.  The main event of the evening will pit reigning Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion, Trevor Lee, against former champion, Roy Wilkins, in a “No Ropes Match.”

This will actually be a re-match from the first-ever CWF Mid-Atlantic “No Ropes Match” held on November 1, 2014, where Roy Wilkins submitted Trevor Lee to retain the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title in a bout that lasted 45-minutes long.  In this type conflict, the only way to win is either by submission or knockout.  Pinfalls do not count and there are no ropes to create a “rope break” to save a competitor.

The main event will be for the Undisputed Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship.  While Trevor Lee is the recognized champion by CWF Mid-Atlantic, Roy Wilkins is still in possession of the brand new title belt that debuted at Battlecade X8.  Wilkins and the All-Stars attacked Lee after the conclusion of the bout, lynching him with the ring ropes, and leaving with the championship belt.  Trevor Lee never even touched the new belt that he should have been presented with!

The rematch will force both contestants to bring their title belts, Trevor Lee with the old belt and Roy Wilkins with the new title belt, with the winner declared the Undisputed Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion and presented both straps.  In addition, the ropes will be removed and the winner must submit or knockout their opponent.  One more stipulation was placed on this match… the All-Stars will be barred from ringside!!!

This event will likely sell out, like their last match did at Battlecade X8, so we are encouraging fans to purchase their tickets in advance at cwftickets.com to make sure they can get into the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium and witness this bout!
