Freedom of Expression returns on July 13th!

CWF Mid-Atlantic presents “Freedom of Expression” on Saturday, July 13th, at the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium in Gibsonville, NC!  Tickets are already on sale!

THE 16th ANNUAL JOHNNY WEAVER CUP TOURNAMENT CONTINUES!!!

The 16th Annual Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament continues with the last four 1st Round Matches on July 13th!!! This year is the biggest tournament ever as not only will the winner gain the glory of capturing the prestigious Johnny Weaver Cup and getting their name etched on the trophy, but they will also win the vacant Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship!!!

Four entrants advanced on June 15th.  This included 2-Time Winner, Arik Royal, last year’s runner-up Cam Carter, 2014 winner Brad Attitude, and in a huge upset, Cain Justice eliminated last year’s winner, John Skyler!

1st ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCHES FOR JULY 13TH 

Slated for tournament action will include 2015 Winner Roy Wilkins, CWF Worldwide TV Champion Aaron Biggs, 2009 Winner Kamakazi Kid, PWI Central Carolinas Champion Snooty Foxx, Ethan Alexander Sharpe, and more!  Match-ups will be released as we move closer to the actual event date!

1st ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCH:
NICK RICHARDS vs KAMAKAZI KID

A match many thought would never happen again… but this year’s Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament bracket has pitted former Weaver Cup winners, Nick Richards against the Kamakazi Kid.  There are no words for the brutality that these two have inflicted upon each other in the past.  But this bout will take skill and some luck to come out victorious and move on to the second round of this prestigious tournament. Don’t miss this one folks!!!

1st ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCH:
AARON BIGGS vs ETHAN ALEXANDER SHARPE

The CWF Worldwide TV Champion, Aaron Biggs, faces off with “Corruption” boss, Ethan Alexander Sharpe, in a first round bout in the 2019 Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament. Will Sharpe and his henchmen be able to pull off the upset of the year?  Or will the dastardly one get flattened into one sour pancake? Don’t miss this exciting night of action!!!

1st ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCH:
SNOOTY FOXX vs JESSE ORTEGA

Jesse Ortega will replace the injured Ric Converse in this year’s Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament.  Ortega is a former Weaver Cup Champion along with holding the Mid-Atlantic TV Title and Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles.  Once a top star of the CWF roster, Ortega is hoping to regain some of that past glory and could do so with a win over the reigning PWI Central Carolinas Champion, Snooty Foxx.  Foxx is hoping to build on his reputation and a win over a past Weaver Cup Champion is certainly the way to do it!

1st ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCH:
ROY WILKINS vs KILLER KOGA

The final 1st Round bout of the 2019 Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament announced will pit PWI International Heavyweight Champion, Roy Wilkins, versus 1/2 of the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, Killer Koga.  It’s certain that the All-Stars general, Coach Gemini, will be at ringside to protect his top talent with plans to add a second Weaver Cup Championship to the long list of accomplishments of Roy Wilkins.

Killer Koga has been on a huge winning streak that garnered his placement in this, the 16th Annual Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament.  Koga’s winning streak included a pinfall victory over another tournament contestant, Cain Justice.  Add to those impressive wins, Koga also recently captured the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles with his Corruption partner, Dirty Daddy.  Will the Corruption big boss Ethan Alexander Sharpe also be at ringside to help his odds in the tournament as well?  This match has the potential to explode with all the people involved!!!

FIRST TIME EVER!!!
THE “FREEDOM 500″ MATCH DEBUTS!!!

A  brand new match takes place for the first time ever, as wrestlers are invited to compete in the “Freedom 500″ on July 13th!  This gauntlet style match will see a wrestler selected to take the “Pole Position” in this race against time to outlast their opponents and claim the Golden Ticket and with it the FREEDOM to name their own match on a future event!!!  The Golden Ticket is one of the most powerful objects in CWF Mid-Atlantic as the holder may cash it in and announce any match with any stipulations.

As another wrestler is selected to enter the race for the gold, he will have 500-seconds to defeat the wrestler already in the ring. If he fails, he will be eliminated and the next wrestler will enter.  Eliminations can occur by pinfall, submission, count-out, disqualification, and over-the-top-rope.  If he successfully eliminates that wrestler, he will take the lead and another opponent will enter with the same conditions.

This will continue until only the winner remains to claim the Golden Ticket!!!

Also in action this Saturday include:  The Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, “Corruption”, Dirty Daddy & Killer Koga ; Adrian “Action” Jackson;  “Cowboy” Kool Jay; Donald BitDon with Khan O’Kelly; and more!!!
