THE 16th ANNUAL JOHNNY WEAVER CUP TOURNAMENT CONTINUES!!!

The 16th Annual Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament continues with the last two 2nd Round Matches on August 10th!!! This year is the biggest tournament ever as not only will the winner gain the glory of capturing the prestigious Johnny Weaver Cup and getting their name etched on the trophy, but they will also win the vacant Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship!!!

2nd ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCHES FOR AUGUST 10TH

We’re down to the “Elite Eight” which will soon be the “Final Four” and what an incredible SIX competitors remain including 2015 Winner Roy Wilkins, 2014 Winner Brad Attitude, 2005 Champion Jesse Ortega, 2011 & 2012 Winner Arik Royal, plus already advancing to the Final Four, 2018 final four Cain Justice, and Ethan Alexander Sharpe! Match-ups will be released as we move closer to the actual event date!

2nd ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCH:
ROY WILKINS vs. BRAD ATTITUDE

These two are former Johnny Weaver Cup Winners and former Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champions!!! It doesn’t get more high-profile that this match up set for August 10th!!! The winner will move to Finals Night and the opportunity to win the tournament (again) and reclaim the prestigious Mid-Atlantic crown!!!

2nd ROUND WEAVER CUP MATCH:
JESSE ORTEGA vs. ARIK ROYAL

Another incredible match-up of former Weaver Cup Winners!!! Ortega, once an All-Star and tag team partner with The Coach, will have to use all his experience and knowledge of the All-Stars’ tactics to come out on top in this one! Of course, who knows better than Ortega??? Also of note, when he won the tournament he also defended his TV Title in every match… something that’s never been done before!

PWI President William Cross, “You’ve got a decision to make, Coach.” The All-Stars must defend their newly won Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles in August. Will they defend at “Storm Warning” or wait until the “Weaver Cup Finals Night” event???
