On August 12, 2025, Bayley appeared backstage on Monday Night Raw, sharing an emotional vignette video, reflecting on her 13-year career.
In the video segment, she shares her intense feeling of emptiness, saying she “wants more and feels nothing”. She even confessed that she doesn’t remember the last time she felt proud of herself.
Bayley also mentioned that she blames herself entirely for her current WWE status, where she has not been involved in any main events or won a title in over a year.
The video segment adopted a documentary-style approach with dark lighting, unsettled camera movement, and haunting audio effects, making fans quite curious and sad at the same time.
It breaks my heart to see Bayley so sad and it's already making me nervous about what's next.

During the video segment, she stated;
I’m not exactly sure how to start this, but I honestly don’t even know how I got here right now. I’ve been doing this for almost 13 years, and I’ve never felt the way I feel. Now I, in a way, want more but feel less. I want more and feel nothing. I think it’s my fault. I think in my process of my whole career, the role model has, it meant something before I even called myself that. And I was treated like one before I even saw myself as one. Then I started to realize that I can make a change, that I can be an asset to the division by being a role model, by being that person that people came to, by being that person that people looked up to, whether it was in the locker room or on the other side of the barricade. And now I’m here by myself. By myself and I feel everything leading up to where I am right now has gotten me nowhere. I sit here without anything to show you, without a championship, without any wins in this last year. I can’t remember the last time that I felt proud of myself and it’s my fault. It’s my fault.
Following the segment, there is speculation that Bayley is leaving WWE, but there is a very low chance that the former Hugger could take that step at this moment.
Therefore, we might get to see the massive character change for Bayley’s storyline in WWE, making her a new champion or bringing back her Hugger persona.
The video segment clearly hints at the character change for Bayley, possibly the most significant, just like when she turned heel in 2019, ditching her Hugger persona and destroying Bayley buddies, along with unleashing her anger on Becky Lynch.
So, there is a chance that we might soon see Bayley heel turn, or her hugger persona with Bayley buddies once again. However, with catching up with the latest WWE Storylines, there is also a chance that Bayley might leave WWE, or something tragic might occur, like the departure of Kross and Scarlett on August 10.
