On August 15, former WWE Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon dropped her Podcast “What’s Your Story”, featuring the WWE Women’s Champions Naomi and her husband Jey Uso.
The WWE power couple discussed their journey in the company and their potential future, with Naomi possibly hinting at taking a break or even leaving WWE for personal reasons.
The podcast was released a few days after Naomi was declared medically unfit to compete for the WWE Women’s Championship against IYO SKY. However, the episode did not shed much light on her medical situation. Instead, it hinted at Naomi transitioning into a new phase of her life.
BREAKING NEWS: Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match against Iyo Sky will not take place tonight on Monday Night Raw.

Tune into tonight for continuing coverage on this developing story.
During the podcast, Naomi clearly mentioned that she is planning to have a baby and is uncertain about how she would balance her personal life with her wrestling career.
She also mentioned fellow WWE Superstars like Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss, who took breaks from the company to have children and have since returned to deliver dominant performances in the ring.
She inspires me, especially now, Becky. But see the women, I always felt like I had this time crunch on me, but now the women are showing, and I really feel like if I wanted to stop and go have a baby, we can do it. They’re doing it so gracefully. They’re really amazing. Beautifully. And it is hard. It’s not easy. I see the loaves, but they get through it, and they’re better for it, and they’re inspiring so many women. And I think that’s just incredible.
Apart from that, Naomi also reflected on how her 2022 departure from WWE gave her the chance to rethink and redefine her career, which ultimately made her more confident.
Rethink, redefine and keep pushing – Grateful to hear some of your journey thus far @TheTrinity_Fatu! Wait until you hear what Jimmy @WWEUsos has to say on an all new #whatsyourstory.@WWE @Fanatics @EGxo

She also shared that during that time, Jey was intensely focused on his career with The Bloodline storyline, leaving her physically and mentally alone, and for the first time, she had to make significant decisions on her own.
While the podcast did not address the rumors about Naomi vacating her WWE Women’s Championship or taking a break from the company, speculation suggests that the episode was recorded before SummerSlam.
However, with the August 8 episode of Monday Night Raw on the horizon, the Raw General Manager has officially announced that Naomi will address her absence on the show and put an end to the rumors and speculation that fans have been carrying throughout the week.
