Asuka Might Turn Heel On Iyo Sky, or Thing Might Turn More Tragic With Involvement of Rhea Ripley

On August 12, 2025, Monday Night Raw, Iyo Sky was set to have a Women’s Championship match against Naomi. But Naomi being medically unfit, the match was canceled.

However, Iyo got the one-to-one match with Roxanne Roxanne Perez, where things turned quite unexpected for Iyo and the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).

During the match, Asuke and Kairi tried to assist Iyo, but Sky mistakenly attacked her teammates, which allowed Perex to roll her up for the win.

Following the interruptions of Asuke and Kairi, Iyo lost her one-to-one match against Roxanne, which became tense later on backstage.

After the match, Kabuki Warriors and Iyo were seen backstage with Sky, looking angry. Things did go well backstage when Asuke pushed Iyo, saying, “SHUT UP, YOU IDIOT! WHAT THE HELL, DAMMIT? IS IT MY FAULT?!”.

Following the rising heat between Asuke and Iyo, there is speculation that we might soon see Asuke heel turn against IYO.

While things are not going as expected in WWE, there is a chance that IYO, being a babyface, might turn heel on Kabuki Warriors, showcasing her new transformations.

Later, when Asuka and Kairi left Iyo backstage, Stephanie Vaquer joined Iyo, saying she is not the only one who was promised the Women’s Championship title.

Rhea Ripley also later confronted Iyo backstage and tried saying that she shouldn’t trust Kabuki Warriors, but Iyo did offer a good reply to Rhea.

Therefore, analyzing the rising tension on the Women’s Championship title, we might soon get to see a fatal four-way match for the Championship, just like the men’s world heavyweight championship on Clash in Paris.

However, Rhea and Roxanne also seem to be looking out for the title, so with the title being one, the wrestlers currently chasing it appear to be more than just four: Iyo, Asuka, Stephanie, Rhea, and Roxanne.

So, whatever storyline WWE has planned for the Women’s Division seems to be interesting in the future.

While Iyo Sky was not the only one to lose a match on Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch successfully defended her Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri.

Despite winning the match after pinning out Maxxine, Becky did not stop; she kicked out Natalya and took her title, leaving a ruthless Aura in the ring.
