Is WWE Role Model Bayley Moving to AEW?
The former WWE “Hugger,” Bayley, is not currently being her true self, admitting to hearing voices and going through some dark times, something she shared during last week’s episode of Raw.
While The Role Model is not making major waves in WWE at the moment, fans have speculated that Bayley might be moving to AEW, especially since her close friend Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) is holding multiple championships there.
Additionally, in a recent video segment, Bayley hinted that she will be undergoing a change, possibly introducing a new persona. However, the “change” she was referring to might also be hinting at a potential change in platform.
Bayley signed a multi-year contract with WWE in 2023, which makes the chances of her moving to AEW in the near future unlikely, and no official details have been offered to support the speculation.
What further supports this speculation is that Bayley recently went live on Instagram, where Mercedes Mone joined the stream. The two discussed their past matches and the possibility of future encounters.
During the IG Live, the two friends shared that it would be quite interesting to have one more match between them. Mone even suggested that she would be ready to offer Bayley a title opportunity, as she currently holds multiple championships.

In the live stream, Mercedes Mone shared that she is aiming for her ninth title, to which Bayley responded that she just wants one. The eight-time champion then replied:
Come face me then, dude. Give the people what they want, one more match. So, what do you think about one more match?”
So these conversations between the two friends have fueled speculation that Bayley might be considering a move to AEW.
On the other hand, there is a chance that Bayley will stay in WWE and aim for the Intercontinental Title against Becky, continuing her feud with The Man.
While nothing is confirmed, fans seem divided on whether they want Bayley in AEW or WWE. Seeing Bayley and Sasha Banks in the ring together again would be a dream come true for many.
At the same time, some fans hope Bayley will bring back her “Hugger” persona, rise in WWE, capture championship gold, and excite the WWE Universe once more.
