Paul Heyman Might Join Brock Lesnar Once Again, as Hinted in The Ariel Helwani Show

On August 7, 2025, Paul Heyman appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show, where he discussed the potential future of Brock Lesnar in WWE.

Brock Lesnar recently made a shocking entry in SummerSlam 2025, hitting John Cena with an F5 just after he lost his world title to Cody Rhodes.

So, while talking to Ariel Helwani on the show, Paul addresses critics and expresses his thoughts on Brock Lesnar’s return.

If there are critics of it, get over it. He’s here and he’s going to be here. and you ain’t going to be able to cancel him. And I’m happy to have him back because the audience is happy to have him back. If we brought him back and the audience rebelled against it, I wouldn’t be happy to have him back. I’d be like, “Oh man, this doesn’t work.” But it works, so I’m happy about it.

Following this statement by the former managers of Brock, some speculations about Paul rejoining Brock Lesnar have arisen.

In the same show, Paul also talked about Brock involving himself with some new contract, but he did not mention what kind, but there is a possibility we might see them together once again.

The duo might once again return to WWE.

However, for this to happen, Heyman must ditch or betray Seth, which is not a new thing for Paul, as he seems to have betrayed many wrestlers in the past.

While it’s not official that Paul will once again join Brock Lesnar, leaving Seth Rollins behind, analyzing the current storyline of WWE, anything seems to be possible.

In addition to Brock’s return, Paul also talked about several other WWE dramas in the Helwani Show, one exciting one is how the heel turn of John Cena was plotted.

When Helwani asked whether John Cena’s hell turn was a mistake or not, Paul mentioned it was not just, but it didn’t go just as planned/ expected.

Taking further with the journalist, he said,

“I love what-ifs for the future. What if we do this? What if we do that? (…) ‘What if John Cena had ever turned heel? Oh, man. We’ll never know.’ Well, now we know. Now we know what would have happened. (…) And that would have been a what-if that we all would have asked. And I thought he delivered. I thought he took it as far as he could possibly take it.”

At the moment, WWE is seen to be exploring lots of what-if moments, so we cannot say we may get some new surprises soon.

Recently, WWE made a contract with the ESPN streaming service, which we never thought would happen, so nothing seems to be impossible in WWE at the moment.
