Will Roman Reigns Have a Match in Wrestlepalooza?
The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, is officially set for a one-on-one match against the “Tribal Thief” Bronson Reed at the upcoming PLE, Clash in Paris.
With this match locked in for the August event, questions are circulating in the media about Roman Reigns’ presence at the September PLE, Wrestlepalooza.
Wrestlepalooza will be the first Premium Live Event to air on ESPN, with its main highlight expected to be John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar.
A new home. A new PLE. A new era.

However, Roman’s appearance at the September PLE has not yet been made official. Speculation suggests that the Tribal Chief may possibly miss Wrestlepalooza.
Reports indicate that Roman has been cast as Akuma in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie, with production set to begin in August.
Therefore, Clash in Paris might be Roman’s last PLE appearance before he begins filming, making it highly possible that he will miss Wrestlepalooza.
Moreover, the recently released Wrestlepalooza promo video does not seem to feature Roman, hinting at the possible absence of OTC from the September PLE.
If WWE had any plans for Roman Reigns at Wrestlepalooza, they would have definitely included him in the promo, as multiple stars like Cody Rhodes and John Cena were featured.
However, with no official confirmation released yet, we cannot be certain that the Tribal Chief will miss Wrestlepalooza, though the chances appear to be high.
If the speculation turns out to be true, instead of OTC, fans might get to see another member of The Bloodline, The Rock, make his return to Wrestlepalooza.
Wrestlepalooza Match Card Prediction
With one more PLE still left to air before Wrestlepalooza, WWE has not made any official confirmation regarding the September event’s match card.
However, by analyzing the ongoing storylines, we might get to see the following matches.
- John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
- Drew McIntyre Vs Cody Rhodes
- Sami Zayn vs. Solo Sikoa
- Nikki Bella Vs. Becky Lynch
Among these matches, Brock Lesnar and John Cena might take center stage as the main highlight of the event, with reports suggesting that Cena is set to face an opponent he hasn’t battled in nearly 10 years.
What makes Brock the perfect choice for Cena at Wrestlepalooza is that their last encounter took place at the 2015 Royal Rumble and his return on SummerSlam 2025, giving F-5 to Cena.
In addition to these predictions, there is also one official announcement from Triple H: color commentator Pat McAfee is confirmed to return to WWE at Wrestlepalooza.
